1970s Belstaff "Chris Bonington Endorsed" Nylon Hiking Smock - modified length.

In survival orange 🍊

Belstaff co-designed this rare range of high-altitude weatherproof clothing between 1976 and 1978 alongside legendary British mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington.

In the late 1970s, Belstaff stepped away from motorcycle wax cotton briefly to pioneer specialized nylon, Gore-Tex, and mountain-rescue outerwear. 🏔️

Built as a 3/4 length (although this has been modified to a waist length) overhead survival anorak with an expansive central map pouch, white contrast drawstrings, and large mechanical toggle adjusters at the neck and hem to prevent wind ingress. 🗺️

The round chest patch features the historical, circular Belstaff International Phoenix/Eagle crest rather than the modern square arm badge. 🐦‍🔥

Pit to pit 26 inches
