Making your own product is ridiculously difficult to get right. Very expensive. Hard to quality control. Even harder to sell.

These jackets are made from 100% recycled fabric (removal blankets) the pattern is an original 1950s pattern. Each jacket is unique in its own way.

The jackets are made locally by a lady in her little workshop. Each one has imperfections. Slightly different silhouettes and completely different colouring. They're made to be worn as municipal jackets. Gardening, travelling, painting, laying brick or digging a hole 🤷🏽 jackets at this time for the working man or woman, would have been homemade and worn for use not fashion. These jackets reflect the honesty in homemade pattern sewing.

They aren't made to the quality of Gucci but they're super versatile, easy to style, easy to wear and perfect for layering.

These jackets along with another style being released soon will be sold under the brand 'War and Morphine, by civilian.
